I made this painting while recovering from major knee surgery in the summer of 2020. As you probably know Kobe passed earlier that year. I became inspired when I realized that in order to keep the Mamba Mentality alive one must live by it.

I love Jimi Hendrix because he reminds me of a very specific period of my life when I was being introduced to a little bit of the hippie scene. I made this painting to represent how I feel when I hear his music.

I love Pearl Jam. Plain and simple. This band brings back so many amazing memories throughout the years and I know some of you feel the same. I want the viewer to feel Eddie’s energy when looking at this painting.
My Story
I have been working in the IT industry in some capacity since 1999. I have done everything from desktop support to managing large scale security projects. I have always wanted to throw myself into what I really love doing. Making paintings that I know will make people smile. I mainly enjoy making paintings of role models that have made a positive impact on me or others. My goal is to continue making unique portraits of my favorite athletes, musicians, movies, and all sorts of pop culture figures. I promise to put every bit of love and energy into each of my paintings. In early 2023 I was let go from my job as a Cyber Security Project Manager along with thousands of other people in the tech industry.
