Bob DeVaul Memorial Basketball Clinic
A wonderful cause in West Virginia which holds a yearly basketball clinic for kids free of charge. This memorial is in honor of Bob DeVaul who spent a major portion of his life promoting and supporting youth sports. This painting of Larry Johnson and Muggsy Bogues will be raffled off at a May 5th charity dinner to help raise funds for this amazing cause. It was an honor to be involved with this.
New Pathways for Youth
Designed and led a project in which each child with New Pathways for Youth www.npfy.org was assigned a square to paint and then all squares were put together. The fundraising project was meant to teach teamwork to homeless children. This piece of art raised $125,00 by allowing Sky Harbor Airport affiliates to donate money that supported the non-profit.
Fundraiser to help with a young boy suffering from a rare disease
In May of 2015 I was asked to paint “anything” for a charity auction so I decided to combine two of my favorite things. The lady who ended up buying it had no idea who Jeff Lebowski is and no idea what Pink Floyd is. She just said she loved the painting. Haha. I would love to find out where it is and what she did with it.
Nursery Dilema
The problem: The mom wanted ONLY Dr. Seuss decor and the dad was heart broken because he’s a die hard Michigan fan. The Solution: I designed the grinch wearing an old school leather helmet in front of the Michigan logo. Both parents were happy as a clam. Go blue!
